Hi all! Just a quick update about what's going on in my world. Yesterday, we started tearing up the carpet in our apartment. Good news though, we're not stuck with the bill! They didn't put up much of a fight when my dad got involved. Sometimes I feel like people are really taken advantage of in my building. A lot of college students move in and out and are assumed naive. And we have a couple of elderly people here who have been treated horribly. Then there's my mom. Although she's lived in the country for 15 years, she still has trouble understanding certain things in English, and gets flustered a lot. So I think people in charge think they can take advantage of her and others. Anyways, right now things are a mess. Thankfully, I was able to square off a little corner of the room so that I can use my PC. Yesterday, I wasn't able to until late. It's really amazing how much we rely on PC's. I watched a few DVD's, including "The Gingerdead Man" with Gary Busey. Pretty bad, but hilarious nonetheless! And then chicken friend called and I talked to her for 3 hours. She wants me to go to Florida with her. I would love to go, just not with her, lol. We know who'd end up paying for it all.

We're still planning to move in the next month or so. My dad is taking off more time from work, (Which is great, because he never takes time off!) to look for a house and get things done. I can't wait to get out of here. I said it'd be funny if things flooded again and the building owners had to fix things twice, lol. Yes, it's mean, but I don't like them much.

Since I've got my PC back, I'm going to work on some graphics and then finish the two overdue messages I need to send. And I want to write graciekitten about books!

Not much else to say, except that I'm worried about Emma. I haven't talked to her all day. I know she didn't get off work until 7, but she usually posts a Twitter update or something. I txted her, but haven't gotten a response yet, which is also making me worry. I know I'm probably being silly here, it's just that I miss her, and we're so close that we go through withdrawals, lol.

Hi all! I haven't posted in a few days, so wanted to update. First of all, how is everyone in the MA area or around dealing with all this rain? Things are not going well here, we got water in our building, and in our unit. Nothing is ruined yet, but we're expecting more rain; and although towels on the floor are working now, they might not soon. My dad has had it with this, our building manager, etc. so we will be moving. We need to anyways with the baby coming. But it most likely won't be until August, as we need to find a house first. Yes, a house! I won't have to share a room, and will have more room to escape when my mom goes on her rants, lol.

Speaking of the baby, my mom is the one pregnant, but my feet are swollen today. They're tingling too, so I'm going to put them up for a bit and watch some TV. So Emma, if I'm not online, no need to worry, sweetie! *huggles*

When I get back on, I'm going to post some blinkie pick ups and then some new offers. (And yes, Biffle gifts!) I've made some really cute things and am excited to share them. :) I also still owe cherany a novel, (Maybe a volume now, lol!) and replies to my last two entries. I haven't forgotten, but I want to sincerely answer you guys and not rush things. You deserve something well thought out.

Not much else to report, since the water issue has been the main thing I've been dealing with the past few days, but I may start volunteering at a Humane Society. (Edited to remove the name, in case that certain someone I don't want knowing about stuff, is reading this. Almost forgot this was a public entry!)


One more thing before I go, and I apologize if it sounds bitchy. This isn't directed at anyone on my friend's list, so no need to worry there; it's to people I don't know, names I don't even recognize. I obviously love graphics, so will most likely join a community if you invite me. But randomly spamming people's entries just to win promotional contests?? No way, not gonna happen, at least not with me. So stop spamming, please!! Thank you. :)

As I'm sure all of you know, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson passed away today. First of all, may they rest in peace, and lets keep their families in our prayers and thoughts. They were both legends and I know they'll live on in their TV/movies and music. However, the reason for this post is to thank each and every one of you for being in my life. In the blink of an eye, anyone you love can be taken from you. Take a moment each day to let the ones you love know how important they are to you. And you all are so dear to me. Even though this is the internet, that doesn't make it any less meaningful. Thank you all for just being you, and for the love and joy you've given to me. <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
